When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make "breakfast-food" for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made dinner after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite! When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what he said: "Baby, I love burnt toast."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Debbie, your momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides-a little burnt toast never hurts anyone!" In bed that night, I thought about that scene at dinner... and the kindness my daddy showed my mom. To this day, it's a cherished memory from my childhood that I'll never forget. And it's one that came to mind just recently when Jack and I sat down to eat dinner.

I had arrived home late... as usual... and decided we would have breakfast food for dinner. Some things never change, I suppose! To my amazement, I found the ingredients I needed, and quickly began to cook eggs, turkey sausage, and buttered toast. Thinking I had things under control, I glanced through the mail for the day. It was only a few minutes later that I remembered that I had forgotten to take the toast out of the oven and I had just used up the last two pieces of bread. So burnt toast it was!

As I set the plate down in front of Jack, I waited for a comment about the toast. But all I got was a "Thank you!" I watched as he ate bite by bite, all the time waiting for some comment about the toast. But instead, all Jack said was, "Babe, this is great. Thanks for cooking tonight. I know you had a hard day."
As I took a bite of my charred toast that night, I thought about my mom and dad..... how burnt toast hadn't been a deal-breaker for them. I quietly thanked God for giving me a marriage where burnt toast wasn't a deal-breaker either!

You know, life is full of imperfect things..... and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook. And you might be surprised to find out that Jack isn't the perfect husband! He likes to play his music too loud, he will always find a way to avoid yard work, and he watches far too many sports. But somehow in the past 37 years Jack and I have learned to accept the imperfections in each other.

Over time, we have stopped trying to make each other in our own mould and have learned to celebrate our differences. You might say that we've learned to love each other for who we really are! For example, I like to take my time, I'm a perfectionist, and I'm even-tempered. I tend to work too much and sleep too little. Jack, on the other hand, is disciplined, studious, an early riser, and is a marketer's dream consumer. I count pennies and Jack could care less! Where he is strong, I am weak, and vice versa.

And while you might say that Jack and I are opposites, we're also very much alike. I can look at him and tell you what he's thinking. I can predict his actions before he finalizes his plans. On the other hand, he knows whether I'm troubled or not the moment I enter a room.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting marriage relationship.

The Java language has built-in capabilities to ensure that violations of security do not occur. RAID-Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks

RAID is the abbreviation for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. Raid actually stood for redundant array of inexpensive disks earlier. But as hard disks got cheaper ,the word inexpensive was changed into independent. It is the group of hard disks that increases performance or fault tolerance or both.

Redundancy is achieved by either writing the same data to multiple drives (known as mirroring), or writing extra data (known as parity data) across the array, calculated such that the failure of one (or possibly more, depending on the type of RAID) disks in the array will not result in loss of data. A failed disk may be replaced by a new one, and the lost data reconstructed from the remaining data and the parity data.

RAID mainly deals with three key concepts namely Mirroring, Striping and Error Correction.

Mirroring -copying of data to more than one disk;
Striping - splitting of data across more than one disk;
Error Correction - where redundant data is stored to allow problems to be detected and possibly fixed (known as Fault tolerance).

Fault tolerance is that to make system to function properly even in the face of catastrophic failure like power outage and hardware failure. The systems that are fully fault tolerant with fault-tolerant disk arrays are able to avoid the data loss. RAID are disk drives that uses two or more disks to achieve fault tolerance and performance.

RAID can be implemented in two ways either in software or hardware. The Hardware implementation of RAID is done using an internal RAID board or an external RAID processor like CMD controllers. Internal RAID controllers are faster than external controllers and are less expensive as well. The Software RAID is implemented using the computer’s CPU and memory. Hardware implementation supports hot swapping and hot sparing whereas the software implementation doesn’t supports those things.

RAID LEVELS:

RAID 0 - Striped Disk Array without Fault Tolerance

It Requires requires a minimum of 2 drives .It implements a striped disk array, the data is broken down into blocks and each block is written to a separate disk drive. No parity calculation overhead is involved. Fault tolerance is available.

RAID 1 - Mirroring

It requires requires a minimum of two drives. It provides 100% redundancy by mirroring one drive into another drive. Its more expensive as one drive is used to store the duplicate data.

RAID 2 –Hamming code parity

It requires a minimum of two drives. Disks are synchronized and striped in very small stripes, often in single bytes/words. Hamming codes is calculated across corresponding bits on disks, and is stored on multiple parity disks.

RAID 3-Striped set with dedicated parity

It requires a minimum of three drives. The data block is subdivided ("striped") and written on the data disks. Stripe parity is generated on Writes, recorded on the parity disk and checked on Reads.

RAID 4-Block level Parity

It requires a minimum of three drives. Each entire block is written onto a data disk. Parity is calculated on every write operation and stored on parity disk. This parity will be checked for read operation. Simultaneous read is possible. Only single write operation is carried out.

RAID 5- Striped set with distributed parity

It requires a minimum of three drives. Each entire block is written on the data disk. parity is generated in the same block on Write operation and checked on Reads.

The Java Development Kit (JDK) is a Sun Microsystems product aimed at Java developers. Since the introduction of Java, it has been by far the most widely used Java SDK. On 17 November 2006, Sun announced that it would be released under the GNU General Public License (GPL), thus making it free software. This happened in large part on 8 May 2007 and the source code was contributed to the OpenJDK.

The primary components of the JDK are selection of programming tools,

§ java – The loader for Java applications. This tool is an interpreter and can interpret the class files generated by the java compiler. Now a single launcher is used for both development and deployment. The old deployment launcher, jre, is no longer provided with Sun JDK.

§ javac – The compiler, which converts source code into Java bytecode

§ jar – The archiver, which packages related class libraries into a single JAR file. This tool also helps managing jar files (archived java class files)

§ javadoc – The documentation generator, which automatically generates documentation from source code comments.

The JDK also comes with a complete Java Runtime Environment, usually called a private runtime. It consists of a Java Virtual Machine and all of the class libraries that will be present in the production environment, as well as additional libraries only useful to developers, such as the internationalization libraries and the IDL libraries. Also included are a wide selection of example programs demonstrating the use of almost all portions of the Java API.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.

His bed was next to the room's only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end..

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation….

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.

Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats.

Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.

She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window..

The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.

He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

It’s another morning..

….. Again I have to go to office.

Ohh, this is me… I shouted having a glance on my snap in today’s news paper.

But what the HELL it is doing in the death column??

Strange…

One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a severe pain in my chest, but I don’t remember anything after that, I think I had a sound sleep.

Its morning now, ohh….. It’s already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee?

I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.

Where is everyone…??? I screamed.

“I think there is a crowed outside my room, let me check.” I said to myself.

So many people….. Not all of them crying…

But why some of them crying…

WHAT IS THIS??? I m laying there on the floor…

“I AM HERE” … I shouted!!! No one listen.

“LOOK I AM NOT DEAD” … I screamed once again!!! No one is interested in me.

They all were looking me on the bed.

I went back to my bed room.

“Am I dead??” I asked myself.

Where is my wife, my children, my mom-DAD, my friends?

I found them in the next room, all of them were crying… still trying to console each other.

My wife was crying… she was really looking sad.

My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad.

How can I go without saying my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ??

How can I go without saying my wife that she is really most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..??

How can I go without saying my parents that I m … just because of u ??

How can I go without telling my friends that without them perhaps I have done most of the wrong things in my life… thanks for being there always when I need them… and sorry for not being there when they really need me..

I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears…

Ohh… he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.

I went there.. And offered him my hand, “Dear friend… I just want to say sorry for everything, we r still best friend, please forgive me.”

No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still preserving his ego, I am saying sorry… even then!!!

I really don’t care for such people.

But one sec…. it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see my extended hand.

I just sat down near ME; I was also feeling like crying…

“OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS…”

I just wasn’t to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that how much I love them.

My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful.

“YOU R BEAUTIFUL” I shouted.

She didn’t hear my words, in fact she never heard these words coz I never said this to her.

“GOD!!!!” I screamed… a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..

I cried…

One more chance please… to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud on me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life….

Then I looked up and cried!!!!

I shouted….

“GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!”

"You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up. "Did you have a nightmare?"

I was sleeping….

Ohh that was just a dream….

My wife was there… she can hear me…

This is the happiest moment of my life…

I hugged her and whispered…. “U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE…. I REALLY LOVE U DEAR”

I can’t understand the reason of the smile on her face with some tears in her eyes, still I m happy…. J

“THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS SECOND? CHANCE.”

Once upon a time there was a very rich girl who had four boyfriends.

She loved the fourth boyfriend the most and adorned him with rich robes and treated him to the finest of delicacies. She gave him nothing but the best.

She also loved the third boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighboring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.

She also loved her second boyfriend. He was her confident and was always kind, considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times.

The girl's first boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend Although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him!

'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the second boyfriend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.' His answer struck her like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go.' The girl looked up, and there was her first boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect.

Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'
